My name is Jessica Ruiz Peña. I was born and raised in Villa Clara Province, Cuba, and later moved to Varadero in the late 1990s when my father joined a tourism agency. Growing up in Cuba, I experienced firsthand the reality that homeownership — something many take for granted — was simply not allowed. That early experience instilled in me a deep appreciation for the freedom and opportunity that comes with owning a home. In 2007, I earned an Associate of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Matanzas: Camilo Cienfuegos, and four years later, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education at the same university. From 2015 to 2020, I worked as a Public Relations Coordinator for the Cubanacán Tourism Agency, gaining valuable experience connecting with people and understanding their needs. In 2021, I moved to Mexico, settling in Cancun, Quintana Roo, where I opened my own store and began exploring the world of sales. Two years later, in 2023, I moved to the United States and obtained my real estate license. As a Realtor, one of the most rewarding parts of my job is meeting new people and helping them transition into a new phase of their lives. Every client’s story is unique, and the more I can learn about them, the better I can serve future clients while building meaningful relationships and business opportunities. My background — from growing up in a country where property ownership wasn’t possible to helping families achieve the dream of homeownership in the U.S. — drives my passion and dedication in every transaction.
